Amazing Self-care Sunday Ideas

Self-care means doing something to improve one's health, and it is extremely important as it helps us to find a perfect balance between life and work. Especially at this time when everything is going beyond expectations, where we are forced to stay at home and are expected to do everything from home only. 

But I think, instead of taking it negatively we can think about what positive can we bring out from us in this difficult time. And for this we need to initially start working on ourselves for ourselves this time. 

So, here are some amazing Self-care Sunday ideas that'll prepare all of us for the week ahead. 

Also guys! Read it carefully as I've written one of my secrets in this, that is definitely gonna help you. 

Let's begin now! 

1) Create your To-do list:- 
This is the first and the most important step. Start your Self-care Sunday by creating your to-do list. Write down everything that you have to do in the week ahead, and accordingly make a time chart for it. 
Ones you are done with it, plan your today accordingly. Today's self-care day could be a little hectic as you are going to start something new today, but you'll enjoy it from next week. So just take this step bravely. 

2) Treat yourself:- 
In this pandemic avoid going out, and pamper yourself at home only. For this, you may try some basic & simply beauty treatments like, hair masks, face masks, manicure, pedicure and much more. 

3) Create your own Gratitude Journal:- 
Journaling is a kind of list or record of your thoughts, ideas, wishes, or anything that inspires you. So, initially start with creating your own gratitude list, where you write about the things that inspire you and the things you want to do. 
Just continue to write them. And whenever you feel low or feel lost just read it ones, I promise you'll never look out for any motivation or inspiration.This is one of my secrets as how I keep myself motivated & inspired. So you all should also try this one especially. 

4)Do something that makes you happy:- 
We all have something that we love, but due to our busy schedules we stopped doing it. But now we have a chance to do all those things. It could be painting, dancing, singing, gardening, playing with animals, cooking and much more. 

5) List all hindrances that arise in your way to success:-
We all have different stories, different goals, different struggles and likewise different hindrances in our path to success. So, whenever you face any hindrance write it down immediately, and keep making a list of it and meanwhile work on solving them. 

6) Move your body:-
Try to do some physical activity, it could be walking, running, swimming or any other sport. But avoid these things these days due to the pandemic. 
Rather do some home workout, do some exercise or yoga. A lot of apps are available for this. Also, these days people are providing online training classes or you may try some Zumba classes or Dance classes, according to your interests. 

7) Practice saying ‘NO’:-
Do you feel like you shouldn't have said yes at a particular situation? Or was looking for an opportunity to say but couldn't find it? If yes, then my dear you definitely need to read this one. 
Always remember one thing that, Caring about others emotions and reputation is good but not at the cost of yours. If at any point in life you feel that you are making anyone else happy by putting yourself in regrets then you are going wrong. Just stop it immediately. 
Practice to say No. Stand in front of the mirror and say, “You have done great for others till now, and now it's the time to do the best for yourself”. Trust me this is definitely gonna help you. 

8) Take rest & ensure proper sleep:-
I personally take at least 8 hours of sleep in a day, and strongly recommend it to others as well. Take proper sleep, it will give you energy to survive the next day. 

9) Clean your room/workspace:
 I know it is extremely difficult to do this in week days because of the busy schedule, so make a habit of doing this on Sunday. As doing this not only gives you a clean environment, but also protects you from unwanted diseases and infections and also reduces distraction, which is a huge problem now a days.

Self-care is extremely important to keep yourself physically and mentally healthy. Its the high time guys when you should start caring about yourself.
